Guillamón: "I think we deserved more, but we have to improve"

Hugo Guillamón gave his thoughts on the 0-1 defeat to Atletico Madrid on LaLiga Matchday 3, lamenting a harsh loss for Valencia CF.
The result
It leaves a very bitter taste in our mouths, because the team did many things well to get something positive from the game. However, we leave here with a defeat that hurts, above all because of how the team played and how we gave everything -and with how the fans were here supporting us. They gave us a lot of strength.
Needing to improve
Maybe it's too harsh a result. It's true that we have to improve things, but I think the team deserved more from these past two games. If this isn't enough for us, it is because we still have to improve in order to get more wins.
The high press in the first half
The team did a lot of things well. Preparing the match was about that, putting a lot of pressure on the opposition. The fans here at Mestalla always give us a lot of strength, and we already saw that against Girona; even when a man down, we were playing in the opposing half and pressing. That was the plan today as well, and It was a pity about this result that leaves us a bitter taste in our mouths.
The support at Mestalla
The support has been incredible. This year you can see that the fans are very excited about us. We are giving everything in games and in training to make them feel proud and proud. Today we suffered a defeat, but I am sure that with their support we will enjoy ourselves a lot this season.
Next Sunday's game
We have to think about the next game right now, as it is a vital match for us. We have to get back to winning ways, and there is no better way than here at home with our fans behind us.
